This used Garmin Alpha TT15 dog tracking and training collar combines a top-mounted high-sensitivity GPS/GLONASS receiver with remote training controls. The tested device includes a new strap and antenna, plus a charging clip and cable. When paired with a compatible handheld, it supports audible tone, vibration and 18 levels of continuous or momentary stimulation for individual-dog training.
The rugged collar is water-resistant to 10 meters and can track at distances up to 9 miles under supported conditions. Built-in LED beacon lights can be activated remotely to help locate a dog in low-light environments. Traditional stimulation allows quick low, medium or high changes within a selected level, while linear stimulation progresses through levels 1 to 18. Track-only handheld compatibility is available, although training functions require a compatible training handheld.
