The Googan Squad Gold Series Spinning reels are for the angler who demands keen attention to detail and unrivaled performance. These reels come standard with the ToughTooth Custom Forged Aluminum Gears to extend the life of your reel, as well as a Slow Oscillation System to allow for superior line management and improved casting distance. The carbon-infused frame and aluminum side plate create maximum strength, but allow for weight reduction for the perfect balance of comfort and durability. These reels are equipped with TopoGrip with VisiCore Rubberized Grips for superior feel and slip-reduction and map to the CatchSmart product-pairing system to simplify fishing for anglers of all experience levels.
The 2500 size provides a versatile spinning-reel format for a range of freshwater presentations and line-management needs. Match the reel or rod to compatible line, lure weight and tackle before use, and inspect the equipment regularly as part of routine fishing preparation.
