A pocket-packable waterproof camping tarp gives you a small shelter to carry for solo ground bivy camping and breaks along the trail. The DD Hammocks SuperLight Tarp S packs small enough to fit into a jacket pocket, making it a compact addition when you want a separate rain cover without taking a larger shelter.
The tarp is designed to cover one person and their gear. Set it up as a day shelter for a lunch stop or rest break, or use it as a ground sheet when that arrangement is useful. It can accompany cycling, climbing or trail-running trips where a small rest-stop shelter is practical.
This model is intended for ground-based shelter rather than hammock cover. Its small size means it is not recommended as a hammock shelter; choose the larger regular SuperLight tarp for that use.
