A weighted vest adds plate-based resistance to training while contoured, padded shoulder straps provide a broader contact area than thin straps. The GORUCK design uses shoulder-strap construction adapted from the Rucker, with a shape intended to sit comfortably against the body during workouts.
Front and back pockets hold standard Ruck Plates, and hook-and-loop plate closures keep the plates in position. Waist straps help adjust the fit around the torso. This version is compatible with standard Ruck Plates only, so confirm that your training plates match that format before choosing the vest.
