Outdoor pickleballs with 40 machine-drilled holes are designed for a balanced flight pattern on the court. The Franklin X-40 construction uses a 74mm diameter and an outdoor-focused design for players building a consistent practice or game-day ball supply.
The precision-drilled hole pattern is a central part of the ball design, intended to keep performance consistent from one ball to the next. You can select among 3, 6, 12, 24 and 100-ball pack labels, making it straightforward to choose a smaller supply for individual play or a larger supply for more frequent court sessions. Yellow, Pink and Ember are the actual color labels. Match the pack and color to your usual outdoor pickleball routine without mixing these balls into an indoor-only setup.
