An emergency bivy sack adds reflective coverage to the supplies you carry for an unexpected delay outdoors. This orange MilitaryKart bag has an aluminum-coated thermal interior and an envelope-style shape, with approximately 84 by 36 inches of coverage.
Unlike a loose blanket that needs to be held around you, the sack opens so you can slide inside and keep the thermal film in position. Unpack it, unfold it and slide in; the design does not require poles or a separate shelter frame. Its orange exterior is easy to spot among your other supplies.
Keep it in a vehicle emergency kit, a hiking pack or home preparedness supplies for an unplanned wait or power outage. After use, carefully fold the reusable bag and place it back in its drawstring storage pouch. The compact stored format makes it convenient to keep with the equipment you already take on a trip.
