A 45L hiking backpack offers two ways to reach equipment on the trail. The OutdoorVitals Shadowlight Original Model combines an adjustable roll-top opening with a full-length front entry zipper, so packing access is not limited to the top of the bag.

Two front stretch pockets and side bottle pockets keep additional gear outside the main compartment. Two zipped hip-belt pockets include a key clip for small essentials. A top cinch strap secures the roll top or provides a place for items such as a pad or tent.

The pack uses Robic nylon with Spectra ripstop reinforcement, an internal aluminum-alloy frame and a removable hip belt. Its removable back pad can also serve as a sit pad during breaks. Removing the frame is intended for long-term frameless use because putting it back correctly is difficult.
